I want to groom my dog

I like my dog to be fluffy. But his coat is very thick it gets into my eyes if not it lands into my plate or cup of coffee. Since it is summer here, I think I need to trim it. My eyes are kinda itchy at the moment because of those tiny, almost invisible furs.
