Starting To Think About....

....meals that I can eat during week 1 of my new Keto "carnivore" plan. Going to try it (I hope...) for a month starting on Monday. If I want to go longer than that, great....but I hope to stick to it for a whole month (no cheat days). Maybe after the month I can allow other items, as long as they are low carb (like low carb tortillas, bread, things with higher total carbs). I want to try to stay under 10 net carbs for April. I will share my weight loss goal, and everything else maybe Sunday night...but just wanted to start coming up with a list of meals (I shared about different meats/foods I will allow a little while back). Hmmm...here are some ideas: ~ Steak and eggs ~ Eggs with bacon/sausage (or both) ~Keto Chow shake ~Chaffles (it's cheese and eggs mostly) ~Tuna or salmon (can have eggs on the side or pork rinds) ~ Bunless burgers ~Philly cheesteak bowl (without peppers and onions) ~Bratwurst ~Liver ~Chicken of some kind ~Meat & cheese roll ups - Mostly my sides will be eggs or pork rinds I think. I will allow 1 "fat bomb" dessert even though it is not technically carnivore - but neither is the keto chow shake. I think I will allow a little peanut butter too. Also, a zip fizz drink (has electrolytes) and not giving up my diet (zero) soda. I am going to work on getting more water in too. I explained the last parts in that other post as well. I know that most of you would not do carnivore - but if you were to what is something you would have? Just looking for some more ideas!

I would think that any lean meat would be good for your diet.

Lean meat is not keto lol. The diet I do is high fat, moderate protein.

@MommyOfEli2013 High fat content is not very healthy!

@kareng Not necessarily. It's high fat WITH carbs that is bad. Fat by itself is just fine. If you are eating a lot of carbs, then fat is probably best low. When I am on plan my diet is 70% fat.

That's a good plan. Good luck. If I were doing this, I would eat a lot of chicken since that's my favorite.

I hope it will be good, and I won't want to give up on day #2 lol. That is great that you would do chicken a lot since that is your favorite. Chicken is okay, but I prefer chicken breaded haha.

that sounds like a detailed and very possible plan! Reward yourself with an extra 10 minutes of exercise. Make excersize your big reward!

Yes it is, I thought I should be detailed and add things I know I would like. Eww, exercise is not a reward haha!

@DocAndersen It can be, if it works out. Oh really? To me it feels like a chore lol
