In general are you happy with how your life turned out to be?

In general I am happy with my life but I wish I could have a better job. That is the only thing that is bothering me the most but whenever I feel down I always think that soon I will have a better job and everything will be alright 
I think it is important that we feel thankful for what we have but if we are unhappy about something we have to truly believe that things will change soon. That is the way for us to keep going with our lives and bear the bad things that we have to face sometimes.

That's a good way to look at life.
I worked for many years until I retired a few years ago. One thing in the back of my mind was that one day, I would do what I love most, writing. I've been writing since I was 8 years old. Now, I have 6 books published and soon I'll start the publishing process on the seventh. I'm very happy with my life now.

@just4him I think it's good that we change jobs sometimes and don't work always in the same place. At least we have the chance to try to find something better if we are not totally happy with what we are working on. So I think you did the right thing working in different places as the years went by

@sweetloveforeve Call center representative. That was the last in a long list of different jobs. I had that one the longest at 11 years.

I agree with you. In general I'm happy with how I am. I'm also a self-made woman. I may not be rich, but I'm happy. And, money doesn't buy happyness.

I like the way you think. Sometimes we are too harsh with ourselves. We think that if we have done things differently we wouldn't be having that situation but the truth is we did what we did. We can't waste our time always blaming ourselves whenever things don't go the way we wanted them to go. The best thing we can do to be happy is to try to make the most out of everything we have as you say.

I do have some regrets along the way but somehow I would like to say I am happy with whatever outcome my life came to be. I do hope that you do feel the same way about your major decisions in life

I am happy with my major decisions in life I just regret that I started to work where I am working right now but I believe that soon I will have the chance to find a different job that makes me feel happier. have a great weekend

Sometimes we just are too afraid to take risks and things go wrong. For example I would like to leave my job immediately but I don't do that because if I did I would be jobless and I don't know if I would be able to find another job right away. Probably it would take some time because due to the lockdown a lot of things are still closed.
So for now I will keep working in the same place and when things get better I will look for another job and hopefully my life will be happier

Yes you are right being rich doesn't mean that you are happy. I think the most important thing is to be happy even if we are poor
