I have heard the horror stories from law enforcement officers in the past that share their sad stories of finding missing children who have passed away on roads and mountains after they vanished from their homes. However New York State Trooper Brian Hotchkiss is happy that thanks to the efforts of the volunteers in South Bristol New York, he was happy to learn that a young girl who was last seen on a county road near her parents home on Saturday. The young girl is two years of age, managed to walk away from her parents home to Bristol Mountain as the sun was setting where Officer Hotchkiss as well took a chance to climb up the hill where he saw the young girl laying down on a rock. Officer Hotchkiss knew he hit the jackpot when he found out that the young girl was alive even though she was shivering from the cold. Officer Hotchkiss relayed the good news to his fellow officers that he found the girl alive and he proceeded to take the girl down from the mountain to reunite with her parents who thanked the officer for rescuing their child in the nick of time since had the sunset would have been replaced by darkness, it would make the rescue of the young girl even harder. I am sure that the parents of the little girl will do a better job on keeping a sharp look on their child in the near future.

That is a good question what happened when their daughter left their home.

I am glad the girl was found but I am not happy with the parents, They should not have left her alone, That is ridiculous to have a two year old wandering around alone,

The parents should be chastised severely for letting their 2-year-old wander off. I'm glad she was found.

I agree with you since the parents are lucky that their child was found by the state patrol alive this time.
