A Delaware State Trooper gives a fourth grader a wonderful surprise

If anything I have learned about state troopers is that some of them are basketball fans who during their free time they spend some time playing basketball with young children to become friends with them.
Delaware State Trooper Joshua Morris became very good friends with fourth grader Ra'kir Allen since they both share a love of playing basketball.
Officer Morris who has his friends compare his basketball skills with Golden State Warriors basketball star Stephen Curry decided to pay out of his salary a gift that was given to Ra'kir which was a pair of sneakers designed by Curry himself.
Ra'kir was amazed that a state trooper give him a pair of sneakers from his favorite basketball player.
Who says that all law enforcement officers are monsters? Sure there are a few rotten apples in every police force. I try to highlight the good deeds that a police officer do for their community on this site.

I agree with you since there are some stories of police officers taking time off from their duties to play some basketball with the children.

Police need all the positive praise they can get. While I would never want to be a cop, I have respect for them.

I agree with you since one rule of police officers that they usually follow is to make friends with kids in the neighborhood.
