“No secret can remain hidden for ever. Silently and patiently, it waits in the dark. It lets you build your life, carefully stacking the bricks one by one, and then it appears. It deals its blow and everything crumbles. That’s why it remains intact and incorruptible in time, waiting for its ultimate destiny to be revealed.”
A long quote by Greek author Stefanos Livos.
Actually, "No secret ever remains a secret' is an old Filipino adage. It had been inculcated in elementary curriculum subject called Social Studies.
This age old saying becomes relevant today because of one piece of news - Q slipped!
Who is Q?
The conspiracy theorist who turned millions of susceptible Americans into rabid cultists of Qanon.
And what is that Qanon?
The cult that destroyed the minds and lives of people and divided a nation. The supposedly greatest nation on earth - The United States of America.
No amount of recompense could this Q offer - not even if he is given a million lifetimes.
Watch.

Yes. All secrets are revealed at one time or another. Even the Q of America got caught by his own revelation.

God is pretty good at keeping secrets.
The secret of his reality, and of his true existence, never seems to be able to be fully proven by anyone.
What other secrets does he hold, that we can never know?
Or, do even God's secrets get revealed over time, when we are ready to receive them?
So, no secret ever remains a secret then, even to God.

@innertalks You misunderstand the meaning of that verse.
To paraphrase the verse, our Lord Jesus is the full and complete revelation of God. To see Him is in fact to the see God. The disciples couldn't comprehend yet but they did when the Spirit descended into them during Pentecost. They became Apostles.

@eileenleyva Yes, it says there that God is full of secrets, but that he can only reveal them to us, when we are able enough to receive them.
"I have much more to tell you, but now it would be too much for you to bear."
Saint John's gospel, chapter 16, verse 12.
