So, I successfully (I guess you could say) made it through day 2 of Keto Carnivore (ish).
Let's start with the weigh in:
Day 1 - 192
Day 2 (today) - 190.8
So, I did go down 1.2 pounds. I know it is mostly water weight....but at least it went down.
Blood sugars? Not so good.
Fasting - 250
Meal 1 --
Meal 2 --
Before meal 3 - 221
Meal 3 - 179
So, what did I eat today?
Meal 1 - 3 slices of bacon, 1 cheese stick and some pork rinds. (2 net carbs)
Meal 2 - I did not have a lot because I was feeling sick. Had about half of a bratwurst and a fat bomb. (3 net carbs)
Meal 3 - Bunless double cheeseburger from Carl's Jr. Also had a bag of quest chips. (7 net carbs)
So yes, not the best day food wise....but I tried.
So...now for the macros/numbers for the day?
Calories - 1,113
Protein - 68
Fat - 86
Net Carbs - 13
Water - only about 20 oz or so. With feeling sick, I couldn't drink much.
Workout - 1 hour and 5 minutes; burned about 630 calories.
Steps - 9,038
Calories lower than I would like....but had I been able to eat the whole bratwurst I would have been great with the numbers today.
What do you think of day # 2?
How did you do with food?
Do you track your food with an app? If so, what do you use? I always used myfitnesspal, but trying out Carb Manager.
Image is from my carb manager app - my macros for the day

that is pretty good! you can see the declining blood sugar from walking! 9000 steps is more than what doctors say women need to do in a day (7500) so congrats on being way above average!

Well I didn't do any walking, but danced for exercise....but not seeing low carb/working out helping yet. Also, working out can spike the blood sugar too. Oh really? Well my doctor and nutritionist always said to get 10,000 steps a day.

You have to start somewhere; and you are doing good so far. You lost a pound and made it through the second day. Keep at it! I don't have a smartphone; so I don't use apps. I just count calories.

Yes that is true....just hoping to see good blood sugars soon. I am seeing the weight drop (water) but not the sugars yet. Well even just writing down your foods and counting calories/etc is good. I used to just write them down when I had lost the 75 pounds 10+ years ago.
