The neighbor died

Philippines
April 9, 2021 9:06pm CST
Few days ago we were told the couple near us both died from covid. First, the wife who was actually a cancer survivor, then the husband followed. I don't know them well but I see them from time to time and have small conversations. One time he even scolded some kids from toying with the neighbors door bell, which I hate as well. That made me less motivated to go outside and buy some groceries. With that looks like were not getting out of this ECQ very soon.

That's sad, but I guess it's good that they went close together. Keep safe.

I think the husband blames himself and lost the will to live.

@Letranknight2015 That often happens with couples that have been married a long time.

I also have a lot of colleagues going through this situation and I hope that they can survive this. With that being said, I can agree with you on that matter, ECQ extension

Well, if it's going to lessen the infected ones, so be it. People easily forget once the ecq is gone.

If you have to go out to buy necessities always wear double masks and face shield to be sure you are safely protected.

Cases here are around 1K daily. I'm pretty positive this partial lockdown will continue until the end of the year.
