A man whose name was not released to the public is grateful that police officers from Egg Township New Jersey notified the United States Coast Guard (USGC) on Thursday that a man needed to be rescued when he was seen clinging to a kayak in the Atlantic Ocean asking for help.
The Egg Township officials notified the USCG located in Atlantic City about the incident to send a boat to rescue him before it was too late in the Longport Dog Beach area.
A USCG 29 foot rescue boat came to rescue of the man who hanging on to a submerged kayak.
The victim in the boating accident was taken to shore where he was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries that were not released to the public.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the authorities. Thank goodness he is alive and well.
