Rough couple of days.

Yesterday we had rain from about 6 Am, until somewhere around 4 P.m. And the worst of it happened in the early and mid morning. Chilly spent his time split between the underside of the bed and the underside of the couch. Unable to relax until last night when my husband had gone to bed.
We had trouble finding the Chews that Chinna likes, so I ordered some off of Chewey. Hoping they come tomorrow.
As it happens, the roller coaster that is my husband's job continues. Turns out he's got to open 5 days while Brain is on vacation, and things weren't settled as he been told. But, then Lindnsy is telling him what he wants to hear, and the truth is.... he's being yo-yoed between the pair of them.

Over the years he's kind of tested the waters and had me aply to a few places. However, he's two years from retirement age and I don't see him leaving now. A lot of places could offer very little, because he's to experienced and to qualified.

That's food service for you. Well, any job, really. You take the good with the bad. Hopefully, the drama is over, but I don't think it will until he fully retires and reaches that point where he wants to stay home all of the time. He's got two years left, before he can even simi-retire or consider it as an option. We just hit a rough patch. We're kind of due.

We're trying our best. It usually does. We've just hit a rough patch. It sure keeps things interesting.

That's sad that they can't at least get their stories straight so he's not knowing whether he's coming or going. Are they using him because he's such a good employee or what?
I don't know if he liked for something else whether he's be in the same boat or not but a lot of places are hiring at least here. I don't know about there.

We had rain here all night, but now it's just cloudy and we don't have too much water, the ground has absorbed everything.
