Day 246
Promise 713
1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that says he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
What you do speaks louder than what you say. People talk big but rarely back up their words. When they do, you admire a person who keeps his word and follows through with what he says.
John said people who said they were Christians but didn’t act like Christians, lied about their relationship with God. Their actions needed to line up with their walk.
As Christians, you know how true it is when you see people who can speak the language, but don’t have the follow-through. They say they know God and Jesus, His Son, but they haven’t opened the Word since they accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, whether the Word is their Bible or a Bible app, they do not know what is in the Bible.
Then there are true Christians who spend time in the Word, in prayer, spend time with other believers in church in worship and praise, and help others, displaying the fruit of the Spirit in everything they say and do. And you know it isn’t show when you visit their home and see they live at home the same as they live in public.
What kind of Christian are you? Are you all talk and no action? Or do your words and actions line up together?
Let’s pray: Father, help me be a doer of the Word, and not a hearer only. Let my words and actions line up with Your Word. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

In life it's important that your actions match your words

I would say that words come from our mind and mouth, but actions are the energy of love behind them, that reinforce the words, with actioned "abiltyness", from our heart, which listens, cares for, and genuinely helps other people, other than just emptying words out onto them.
