April 14 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I'm thankful I can be late and still get a good workout in the pool and fitness center. Late isn't in my vocabulary. However, I got 9 hours of sleep last night and woke surprisingly two hours later than usual. It was a good morning at the Y.
I'm thankful I didn't miss the snowflakes. Most of you know how much I love snow. Someone reminded us that three years ago at this time we got 27 inches of snow in a three-day period. We won't get that this year but it's good to dream.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Vendetta. I know one of the reasons I overslept was that I was working on this book all night. A scene I didn't think was important, is proving very important and might lead to the end of the book. It would be nice if it would.

Well that is good you still got a good workout. That's good you got some snow, we got some but it all melted as soon as it landed. Wow, 27 inches is a lot of snow! We got a blizzard one year in May...but don't think we got 27 inches.

It's too warm for them to stick to the grass or ground, or cause traffic problems. It was nice to see them.
Thank you. Yes, I'll be finished soon. I processed the ending this morning in the pool and fitness center. Now to get it written.

I don't often sleep much more than 5-6 hours a night, but every now and then my body will make an exception and let me sleep for 9-10 hours. And I don't try to fight it. I know that sometimes we just need to catch up on sleep.
It's exciting to hear about Vendetta. I hope that ending starts to take shape soon. The anticipation to read the book when it is published is growing by the day.

I've got the ending figured out this morning and I have it written down so I know how it's supposed to go. Now to get it written. I hope to have it finished by the end of the month so I can start the publishing process.
It's rare when I get more than 5-6 hours a night too.

It's a lovely day, in Michigan. A little wet, we didn't get very much snow and none stayed on the ground. I'm getting my hair trimmed in about fifteen minutes, I'm happy about this:) I need a trim, that's all!

@just4him I am hoping that we have a break today. It was supposed to rain all day but it appears to have moved out overnight. I dumped another gallon bucket full of water this morning that is sitting outside. Skies are cloudy but that's okay and better than more liquid coming down.

I'm thankful for the rains it brings hope for new growth of plants meaning there will be plenty of food.
