Animals Study Talk Time : The Hoofed animals Tapir

So I was reading this animal encyclopaedia book after a number of days.
I read about Hoofed animals.
Among these is a look alike to the pigs but actually belong to a Hoofed family.
These are Tapirs as shown in the image here which I captured from the book.
They have a long nose and spend a lot of time under water.
Well lot to learn about the animals!

And they use their long nose in a special way.

Thanks. We have some servicing work at home. We need to be even more careful now as Covid has kind of exploded in India. Lockdowns and restrictions are back in a big way.

Yes but we had to get our AC serviced else it is very tough to live in 40 C + conditions.

I've heard of Tapirs but do not know much about them. From the photo definitely must be related to a pig. Similar snout to a giraffe and elephant only much shorter.

Yes a unique animal but similar looking to many.
