I like the idea of Kentucky mom Tara Coombs who is making memory blankets for free to be given to parents who have lost children who have passed away from cancer. Tara is dealing with the challenge of her son who is battling cancer for over a year. I like her idea of making memory blankets since she believes in strength in numbers by families who are going through a rough period of dealing with children battling cancer. Sewing supplies can be sent to Tara's Amazon wish list so that grieving families will get their memory blankets for free. Tara is one sweet person that I wish many more people can follow her example of helping others.

She is sweet and filled with compassion. I hope her own child survives. We give generously to The American Cancer Society.
