Virtual wallet

That is Gcash. When @thehorse asked me what is Gcash i just recently responded to it and it is basically a virtual wallet. And... During this pandemic, this has been a great help for me in paying my mobile load, my groceries in a convenience store, my coffee too. CASHLESS PAYMENT that has been useful. You know, avoiding money that am not sure for contamination. Not sure though but still, I want to be be safe. And also, my sibs can send me money through GCASH too from their bank account to me (GCASH). Another thing, it has this GFOREST, that when i walk (reducing carbon consumption cause i am not using car), it will become an energy that I will collect then when I have that enough energy, I can plant a native tree (virtually) on some protected shed of the country. Do you have a virtual wallet too? *Image credited to Google

It's good you have a way to take care of everything with a virtual wallet. No, I don't have one.

I have two, but I also carry physical cards, too. For those just in case moments where contectless payments aren't an option. While virtual wallets and tap to pay have become more commonplace, a few places still don't accept it. (like walmart) unless you use a special ap and qr code.

@Lucky15 You know it takes a while to adopt a technology. It's still fairly new, but so far the only place I haven't been able to use it, was Wal-Mart unless I used their app. I have it, but yeah..... I don't want to load it up with our cards.

I have several virtual wallets except that GCash doesn't seem to work here.

We also have GCash but it's not widely use yet. Most would use Boost, TnG or GrabPay. I use Boost the most. E-wallet is still not accepted in certain places like wet market or mini-market in my area. I would still need to have cash.

It is a useful app for me. I used it last year when no banks and no remittance centers were open. Even up to now I still use for other transactions. For one year, I was able to earn more energy and was able to plant my tree on Gcash Forest.
