why Filipino often use the word salvage as an execution or murder? I always hear that word from young people they say I will salvage you, means I will murder you.
but from the word "salvage" I think its not the right term to use the word salvage.
what do you think guys? do you have any idea regarding this topic.

Filipinos love to use terms or common terms specially if they are talking with a friend or a family member whom they are close with. Filipino phrases has alot of variety and it depends on the flow of the conversation. Many Filipinos use those phrases if they are really close with the person they are talking with and will use the correct term if its a professional conversation.

yes correct.Filipino has a lot of slang words, I remember one time I woke up, a lot of noise form our neighbors talking about the salvage rape victim and got 12 stabs on her face it happens nearby from our place, all of them use the word "salvage" instead of murder.

that's what I know too, maybe because of different culture, and beside English is secondary language of Philippines or something like tagalog english or mix, that's why there are too many slang words. even now I heard "chupapi munyanyo" but I don't know the exact meaning lol

@Tenshidc oh I see because from what I know usually the term murder is a trial court term in our country and it has a deeper meaning.Unlike if we use the term salvage it is just between friends and neighbors.

Another word lost in translation? In English Salavage has a whole other meaning.
