... for the security personnel here in our community. There are three of them here who work 8-hour shifts if all three are working. If one is on rest day, the remaining two work 12-hour shifts. Their main task is to secure the main gate and go around the village every hour or so especially at night. It ain't an easy job. Make no mistake about it. What they do is important to the community. Decided to cook something easy and something that can be stored and reheated so thought of cooking adobo. Made one from chicken and pork. Other ingredients are garlic, so sauce, vinegar, and spices. Decided to add a couple of hard boiled eggs. I cooked six eggs and added all six. The remaining six, I gave to the security personnel as well. They were thankful for the viand and said that they will have it for the next couple of days.

It's very noble of you to share some "adobo" with your security personnel .

Thanks. They are the security personnel of the village. I'm not a VIP to have my own security detail.

That's very nice of you. How often do you do food distribution like this?

Those security personnel work a long number of hours, 12 hours is really a long shift. I am sure they were grateful, at least they have something good to eat.

It is a big help to them. As far as I know, village security guards don't earn much. Not sure
