Happy 17

United States
April 17, 2021 10:36am CST
I am finding it difficult to let go and let it be today. My muse has taken a sabbatical without my permission. She's stumbling drunk and collapsing on my bed, exhausted and unforgiving. I am frustrated and distracted. Unrelated self-doubt creeps in and robs me of my concentration. Even today's walk was lacking. I will let it go, difficult as it may be.

And give that 'negative' double a one two punch, right in the chops! Your value is far above that past image. Now you're focused on all the beauty that surrounds you, every day! Get out there and take another walk and tell ole 'butt head', to get lost! You're self-worth is gaining height, that's a given

@ScribbledAdNauseum Your value in the world is great, even though you've never realized it before. You are welcome, have a beautiful day AmberLynn!

Will if your can get it out of the way maybe your muse will return faster than it seems. Did you not get your walk in it did it not inspire you as usual?

It didn't inspire me as usual. I think I am going to switch my walking up with jogging. My body is getting used to the walks and my heart rate isn't increasing as much as I'd like it to.

@MarshaMusselman I have to try something. I think I am going to go for a longer walk in the next half hour or so.

@ScribbledAdNauseum You can mix it up too with power walls, walking and jogging.

Thank You. I spent the evening, night and morning with my two closest friends. A bit of recharge with family so to speak, and that helped.

@LindaOHio This weekend we will go to the lake together. We're renting a beautiful home in a residential area not far from a large park.

Poopy days happen. Thankfully not all days are like this . . . tomorrow is another day. But today has not ended yet . . . so there is still a chance that it can go better .

@ScribbledAdNauseum I hope things are going better for you as this new week starts. I know too well about old thoughts creeping in . . . but sometimes I feel that there is a purpose for it . . . like it's a reminder of how far we've come along since then.

@much2say i do think it's a reminder sometimes. I also think we don't always see it as a reminder and it can cause us more pain and anxiety. I'm waiting for this weekend when I'll be with my friends hanging out and having fun at the lake.

You're right. I'm just feeling old self doubts creeping in. Things that took me years to get out from under. Hopefully the rest of today will be better.

Today is shaping up to be a little better. I decided to get offline and crochet for a few minutes. It took me three tries to do a magic ring because I was so shaken, but I got it done and once I got into the crocheting I felt better.
