My gardener is late. Waiting.

So I will eat some nice things while I wait.
I will have boiled potatoes (with skin taken out) but the skin is roasting in the oven. I added olive oil and some salt and they will turn into a wonderful appetizzer.
I hope he comes at a reasonable time. If he doesn´t, I will have to tell him that I´ll pay him only for half of the day.

As I have been doing without a gardener for so long, I accept what I have. Today he overslept and came at noon. I´ll pay him for half a day.

For a full days work, a gardener earns full pay. When he's 1/2 day late, then he earns 1/2 day's pay, simple mathematics! 8 hours, full day. 4 hours, 1/2 day.
