Running 2021 Chicago Marathon with Team CARA

I am in! In for 2021 Chicago Marathon. These past months I have been contemplating between two charities which were 'Team CARA' (Chicago Area Runners Association) and 'Team Salute'. This week I came to the conclusion of choosing Team CARA because it offers more leading up to the event training wise. Team Salute supports military families which I no doubt would like to support in the future being that I am a military veteran, but in this moment I would like to give to the Chicago running community and joining Team CARA is that charity. What better way to give back to our programs in Chicago that has suffered last year due to pandemic. Me being a runner in the Chicago community it only gives me events to participate in so why not. If you would like to support my charity by donating it is more welcome even if it is only a dollar. Feel free to share on social media as well.
