My young lady cousin is a Coast Guard and was infected with this coronavirus. I finally got some information. When she reported for work on April 1st, she was tested positive. It has been more than 7 days that she was being quarantined. I heard that she was suffering intermittent difficulty of breathing and fever. I know that she will surpass this trial. Are you not that worried if this situation happens to your family, relatives or friends? Image Credit: lh3.googleusercontent.com

Of course I'd be worried if one of my family was infected to covid. It must be very difficult for her, I hope she heals quickly.

I am sure she is feeling lonely. I heard she is the only one who can help herself for now.

I hope she is able to recover quickly. Yes, I am concerned about myself, family, friends and actually the whole world about getting infected and that's why I keep telling everyone to stay safe by taking all proven safety measures.

I always have a fear for my family. As much as possible, they will not get hurt. This coronavirus is really affecting our lives. I hope she will recover fast.

@Shavkat I know what you mean and share your concerns. I had thought that with the vaccines things would get better but in spite of that, here (Canada) we are having a third wave. We may have to be more patient as we wait for the situation to improve. Until then, I am in no way relaxing my guard. I see what some people are doing and I am not following their ways that are making things worse.

@kanuck1 Recently, there is so much news flying here and there, either online or offline. There are so many issues with these vaccines. I am not confident that they are effective. Well, it is better than nothing though.

I do believe she can recover dast at the age of 23. It is really worrisome to be in this situation now.

I am still worried, but not as badly, because most of my family and friends are becoming vaccinated. We are still being careful and wearing masks, though! It's very important to stay as safe as possible until this thing is really done. People keep letting their guard down and it keeps coming back when they do that. I hope the best for your cousin!

I guess I need to be worrisome because we have not vaccinated yet. Moreover, we are not sure if it is the best deal to be safe. At present, there are so many issues popping out about these vaccines.

@Shavkat - I believe it is only the one-dose vaccines that have problems. If you can get a two-dose vaccine, they seem safe.

My family just had our COVID experience. Though I was not infected I acted as their connection to the outside world. It was a very sad episode of our life.
