My dad's birthday today....

Today is my dad's birthday. We just got back from dinner. Went to a restaurant called "Outback Jacks." My brother and I paid for my dad's dinner. Well technically, I paid for all of it but my brother will give me the money later.
My brother and I also split money buying my dad something. We picked three photos online to do with the moon landing. I wanted it to be in order so with the photo I've attached, from left to right there is the rocket lifting off, in the middle is being on the moon (though I think that photo is of Buzz Aldrin instead of Neil Armstrong but my dad is ok with this) and the last photo is viewing Earth from the moon so it's in a particular sequence.
We picked the photos and got them made up / printed on these 3 canvases. My dad was really happy with it. My dad and I are the same with having a love for space. Though, sometimes space scares me. I will explain that later actually.
But anyway, had a nice time with my dad and was happy to make him feel special.
Also just wanted to tag @LadyDuck . This is what I was talking about the other day with what we got my dad.

@VivaLaDani13 The moon landing happened in the middle of the night (European time). I did not stay up to watch, but my husband told me that he stayed up.

@LadyDuck I'm sure he will. 
My dad really did love them which made me very happy. I know how much the moon landing means to him. He told me many years ago that when he was little and the moon landing was being aired, he was at school but children kept getting in the way of the TV, so he actually ran away from school, ran to his house and watched it at home.

What a beautiful gift for your dad! I'm sure he loves the photos. I'm a big fan of space too, and I love anything that has to do with our exploration and understanding of the universe around us.
