Bystanders assist a police officer who was involved in an auto accident

A group of bystanders who were at the right place at the right time who are likely Baltimore city employees are being praised for assisting a Baltimore police officer who was answering an emergency call from an eyewitness that someone was trying to end his own life this morning. The Baltimore Police officer who answered the emergency collided with another auto and his police car ended up in a creek. The driver of the other auto was not injured. The city employees went to assist the police officer get out of the auto that was in the creek. Thanks to the alert actions of the city employees, the injured police officer was taken to a local hospital and released after he recovered from his injuries. What happened to the person who attempted to end his life is not known at this time.
