It's What do I Wear Season

Last week we had temps in the 70s. This week we have temps in the mid-40s and 50s if we're lucky. It makes it hard to know what to wear. I check the forecast when I get ready to leave for the pool in the morning. This morning-29 F. Now, that's a nice temp for winter, but this is supposed to be spring, but is it spring? I think it's What do I Wear Season. Cold in the morning - winter jacket, heavy sweater. Temps rising by noon. Hoodie? for going out or should I keep the winter jacket close? I've read some of you are wearing layers to take off as the temps warm-up. Does anyone know what to wear during the day, or is it a guessing game until spring actually takes hold and then wait, it's summer. What happened to spring? Last Friday I felt out of place. It was winter jacket weather when I left for the pool. However, when I left to do laundry, it was hoodie weather. I didn't look at the forecast before I left and wore my winter jacket and winter cap. Monday, the temp seemed like it would be too warm for a winter jacket so I wore a hoodie to the pool. I should have worn my winter jacket. Cold all day. Cold today. We're not getting above 43. So, what do I wear? Today, I'm wearing a tan winter turtleneck sweater. Will it be too much? Or will it be just right? For now, it's perfect. How's your weather? Are you in What do I Wear Season too? I feel the same. I dress in layers and always check the weather reports. Pretty shot of the tree.

I'm always checking those reports. Thank you. The tree has a few more leaves on it right now than the one in the picture. It shows how mild this winter has been compared to then.

@just4him It's so important to check the weather. Cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon. It's been a nasty winter compared to the ones I spend in Florida.

@DianneN Anything is nasty compared to what you have in Florida when you can walk on the beach, see Orville catch fish, and show off his prize to you. Shorts will never take a back seat to ski clothes.

Sometimes it really is hard to figure out what to wear - the temps can change as the hours pass. Today it's sunny but we are having a cool down week (it was about 90F past few days - now it's maybe 80F).

I’ve seen a meme on Facebook that says something along the lines of: “Summer is from 11:30 to 4:45, then autumn until 7:30, followed by winter until 9 AM tomorrow. Dress accordingly.” It’s supposed to get near 70 today, and snow tonight. To make things easy I just threw all my clothes in the car.

Love the meme. That sums it up well. Good idea just throwing them all in the car. Then you don't need to worry about what to wear. You're prepared for anything.

it.must be hard knowing how fast the weather transition is. here we only have one weather. Sunny or glooomy. If it rains, it is still hot.

I'm sorry the only change is precipitation. I wouldn't want hot year-round. I had that when I lived in Guam. I like having seasons.

Its been short sleeve and no tights weather here but now its gone colder again thank goodness. Way too hot, way too soon. Nice photo of the tree.

The weather has been up and down here. We were in the 80s F a couple of weeks ago. It's cooler again and will start going up again tomorrow. Thank you.

We are also in "What do I Wear?" season. I dress in layers, a blouse, a sweater and a jacket that I usually remove as soon as the temperature goes up.

It has been hot lately. I had been wearing long sleeves and pants because I have been mostly inside. A few days ago my mother was fussing about me wearing long sleeves. Then I switched to short sleeves. But we had some bad weather yesterday so I wore a jacket with my short sleeves shirt.

What do I wear here season runs frome Fair week in late October to somewhere around now when it gets and stays hot til fair week again though the change is running a little late thi year, but I am not going to complain

@just4him It's been a bit like that over here lately. I have been putting on a jacket and then taking it off but then putting it back on again. It's quite cold here tonight so I have a jacket on. Lovely photo.
