I think that’s insensitive on their part

My appointment to the doctor’s clinic yesternight was a total waste. I was there on time only to be told that the doctor was already out for a webinar. That is so BS for the assistant because she must have informed me ahead of time if there’s such urgency so that I won’t be wasting my time going there for nothing. I can understand if they will move my schedule of course. I think they have the responsibility to inform their patients any changes about the schedule. I would like to think that they do not value their patients if that’s the case and it’s like very unprofessional on their part. The assistant assures me that I will be the first patient in the list on Monday as no clinic for Saturdays and Sundays. I’m considering seeing another doctor because I’m really disappointed of their actions. I’ve been under the care of this doctor for quite a years but it’s about time to separate if they will treat me like that.

This is what happening now a days. I too booked for an online check up for 23rd April and till now I didn't received any response. They may be busy but we are making payment online already and waiting for their consultations that should be on time. No use after the time when we required it right.

They should do their part because you made payment already. Unless the doctor you booked with was a scam.

@sunilparthan If your doctor is under private practice, I think upon receiving your payment must be the consultation proper and you do not need to wait for the next day. Is he fully booked? That is understandable but you should have your priority number so that you will know that you're next so that it will not hamper your other activities and will receive the treatment you're needed.

Of course they must inform the patient if an appointment is cancelled or postponed. What a rude system to tell you nothing.

That is true but I hold my dismay at their office and try to conceal my disappointment as a civilized citizen.

That is very irresponsible of them. Doctors need to take care of their patients.

I can understand if there's an urgent matter before me but letting me know late is unacceptable.

Oh my. How unprofessional they are to you. I will do the same. I will not be going back to them. There are a lot of doctors who can give me a good schedule

That is true. Must be the assistant's fault if the doctor can't wait on the agreed schedule.
