Heidi Sykler is one happy musician who plays a flute with a musical band in Boston nine years ago is happy that her original flute that she paid $10,000 dollars out of her money was lost in the back seat of a cab. Heidi who at that time was using her maiden name Bean was very sad that at the time she lost her flute she was going to a rehearsal with the New England Philharmonic the same day. The loss of her flute affected her mentally since even though she borrowed a flute from a friend, she decided to quit her dream to play for an orchestra. However the setback only strengthened her desire to play music by saving her money from musical gigs to buy another flute that cost her $13,000 after her attempts to call the cab company to ask the cab driving cab if they located her original flute which the company said that the flute was not inside the cab where she took her ride home which turned out to be a lie. There is a saying that "Good things come to those who wait." In March a music store in Boston named Brannen Brothers who claimed that a music store had called them to ask them for an appraisal of a flute that belonged to Heidi from a customer who sold it to another man. The other man turned out to be the cab driver who gave Heidi a ride home from a nightclub. When Brett Walberg who is the sales manager at a musical instrument store called the Brannen Brothers to inform them that something suspicious was going on. The management at Brennan Brothers contacted the Boston police to try to find the owner of the flute in February 2021. When the police were able to find the owner of the flute who is Heidi Sylker and inform her the good news, she was very happy that after nine years of separation, her reunion with her instrument was complete. Heidi now lives in Maryland living her dream of playing music with a band. I just wonder how the cab driver can live with himself not being honest and handing back the flute that Heidi lost?

Musical instruments are very expensive; and the cab driver saw that he could gain by stealing the flute. I'm glad Heidi finally got it back.

You are right. I guess the cab driver did not know that a flute to a musician is like their best friend.

I agree with you since an instrument to a musician is like a close relative to them.

I've heard about this on the news not too long ago. So happy for her. Shame on that cab driver.

She was very happy to the point where she nearly fainted when she received the good news.
