Another thing associated with festive celebration here is firecracker. Right now I can here someone playing with firecrackers. Actually most firecrackers are ban due to safety reason. But of course some would acquire them illegally. I don't mind them, but they need to know the time to blow it up. Last night someone play firecrackers around 11 pm. I need my sleep okay

That is how it is like in our area

. It is illegal here, but people somehow acquire them - and they must have a lot. We can hear them 2 weeks before a celebration, the night of, and then the 2 weeks after

That is very true. They're burning money. Lots of money with the amount they're buying. I don't think they care. I only care for the noise. I need to sleep and around 11 pm, I already at the dreamland.

This will go on for another two weeks. Or maybe even after that. The worse would be the night before Eid. Some would even have a 'battle'. So noisy.

@prinzcy I'm sorry they did that! I have been in that situation a handful of times where out of nowhere, loud bangs will occur. I love fireworks too but not fun when not expecting them!

@prinzcy I agree with you. It is very disrespectful. Same with when neighbours like to play music loud when people are trying to sleep.

our dogs don't like fireworks, they are loud and scary. we tend to try to avoid celebrations like that!

It gets like that here around the 4th of July. Most are illegal, but it never stops anyone from firing the big ones off anyway. The most fun is cleaning up all the tubes and sticks that land in my yard. lol

They also made cannon out of bamboo, call the bamboo canon. This one is really loud and can be heard from quite a far. But they won't make one near the village or where people can easily find them. Most likely it's harder to run in case the police show up
