My jog this morning

I'm pretty darn proud of myself for this one. The shoes were a bit weird to get used to at first, but I got used to them well before I arrived at the rec center for my jog. I jogged in spurts, and pushed myself as much as I dared. I hope the image will load (I'm not sure how big the image is). I'm not sure why it was split into two sessions since this was all the same walk. Maybe because the first part was at a steady pace / heart rate, and a good chunk was with elevated heart rate.

I haven't seen them split up like that before (but I don't walk for exercise, so not sure if that matters). But looks like a pretty good one! Great job!

Thank You! Some of this was jogging too. I tried jogging this morning (April 28th) but didn't do as much. Admittedly, need to look into better bras for working out in.

@MommyOfEli2013 I did find that I enjoyed the jog a little more today, what little I did of it. I need to pilfer through my drawers tonight and try what I have on for tomorrow morning.

Yeah when you get new shoes it takes a bit to get use to but other than that you did good.

The shoes were a little scuffed but the soles were still in excellent condition. I'm glad I found them.

@Tina30219 Definitely. They had a few other pairs but of course they were too small.

Thank You! I intend to do the same tomorrow. I'll be able to go earlier so it will be cooler and less crowded.

Thank You! A friend of mine suggested doing a challenge on fitbit. Basically she will create a step challenge and that will motivate us both (and several of her other friends - I don't have many friends on fitbit) to get our steps in. I am going to ask her if she will take me as a guest to her gym (the same one I am considering joining) so I can see how it is.

@LindaOHio Absolutely! Posting about my workouts here is half the reason for my success. Gotta keep myself accountable one way or another, right?

Absolutely! These shoes are so comfortable and for only $5.00, I'll take them! lol. Now I need to look into getting some better work out clothes.

That would be why. Most aps break down activity based on the heart rate you pick up.

Fitbit has never done this before. I frequently take walks that are around 1 hour long, but then again this is the first time my heart has stayed elevated for that long.
