Now the Crowds are at Goverment Hospitals!

Until a few days ago, the scene was very much different. Slogans of all political colors were ringing the air and tearing our eardrums. The leaders were gloating to see the adoring multitudes before them! Oh, how grand were the rallies and roadshows, thousands rubbbed their shoulders against others! Now, clamoring crowds are standing before hospitals, to take Covid test, to get a bed in the hospital. They are frantically running helter and skelter for medicines and oxygen cylinders. We were there at the local government hospital to help a colleague. Perhaps, I too have inadvertently contacted the virus. So far, my body is not expressing any symptoms. But you never know!... I'd better be ready for any eventuality!

It's unfortunate situation everywhere. Politicians are known blithering idiots. But I wonder how common people put themselves to risk. Hope you are well. I contracted infection on the day I stepped out of my home with all precautions. It was for a work related meeting and few of us got the virus. And I passed it to my daughter. Thank God that we are almost recovered in this home isolation. Even mild symptoms are not good. It's been three weeks and I still feel so weak

Hi Arunima Good to know that you and your daighter are recovered now. The situation is not good and it doesn't seem to improve in coming couple of months. There are people who are nfected and still moving out freely without masks on, carrying virus and transmitting to huge number of people. Just prayers to God to make things fine here soon.

@anamika161088 Thank you for your concern and comforting words. You are right. Not all can be blamed on government and politicians. We had ample covidiots to put so many lives to risk. It's good to see you after so long. Hope all well at your end. Stay safe and healthy.

@arunima25 Yes. All good and safe so far. Just concerned about the country's situation and how and when we would get out of this. Its too difficult to handle such a big crowd with minimum or no sincereneas towards the disease.

Stay calm and take all the necessary precautions advised to combat the disease. Important thing is to prevent it from aggressively solidifying your lungs. Steaming wit h rock salt in hot water prevents the virus from getting to the lungs. Do that as often as you can. Sip hot tea or soup incessantly. That could help extricate the virus. The important thing is not to succumb to the illness which might show symptoms in fourteen days. Let us hope your immune system could repel the virus. Take maximum dosage of Vitamin C (1500 mg) and citrus juices. Demagogues are hopeless. If there is one thing this pandemia is teaching us, it's not to believe in politicians.

Thank you Eileen. I am doing what I can. But my immunity may not be at its best. So, I need to take extra care.

@franxav Stay in isolation. Consider every one a carrier. Even I and my daughter observe distance inside the home. She stays in the upper room and I'm in the basement. Nourish your self at once. What matters is we overcome this virus. Been praying for India but will keep a special prayer for you.

They shouldn't be joining a gathering like that. It's been a year. They should know better.

The situation is getting worse and I feel that it is going to be expand near soon. The population is too big to handle and also people are not serious even now.
