Is 33 too old to have kids???

April 28, 2021 3:59am CST
Good day mylotters I've been feeling a bit weird lately I'm 33 this year and I've been wondering about having kids but I'm worried that it might be too late. I live with my partner and she has a son who is great and we get along fantastic, he is turning 11 this October so I was wondering if now might be a good time to give him a little brother or sister? My partner is all for it but I'm not sure yet. Is that normal or am I just nervous over nothing? Please lend me an ear and help please guys

It's not too late. You're still young. Some will even have kids even if they're already in their senior years.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease although most of my friends already have kids that are already in high school now but I guess I'm just a late bloomer lol. Ps I love kids by the way and I guess I wouldn't mind having a little mini me running around ????

@Lorne95 That is OK. You all have different reasons and I think there's nothing wrong with that.

It depends but remember having kids when you are too old it will be bad since your kids will develop conditions unnecessary for their health

Exactly but come to think of it I'm not 60 yet and my partner is also 33 so I think we still have some time left

I feel you are just nervous. I am 35 and single, just saying. You can do it if you wish. You can consult your family doc too for an opinion. Take care

Age is not usually a factor for men. The ability to father a child is nothing to really worry about. That being said, there certainly are things about which a couple should think seriously, regarding the choice to bring a new person into the world. While the making of a child is easy, what about the responsibilities going forward? That's more to the point.

In my personal opinion there is no limit provided you have set aside enough money and assets for his, her, or their future and education..

Don't worry too much. You're young and it's okay to have kids at that age.

33 years old is still young, many people have children when they are 40 years old.

I actually think any age between 20 and 48 is ok
