I am thawing a chicken to roast it.

I don´t want to work too much at the kitchen. So I just took out a whole chicken and tomorrow I´ll take out the breast to boil it and take it to Dixie´s. The rest will be roasted and I´ll eat chicken for the rest of the week.
I have had chicken most of the days (except when I go vegetarian) since the covid started. I cannot buy fresh fish or seafood and the best pork meat is expensive and not available. So it is chicken.
Fortunately, there are a thousand ways to cook chicken. And the sides are many too. I cook it in tomato saice to serve with pasta, in a pot with onions and peas to have with mashed potatoes and there is always the rice to go with anything.

Cooked, usually. We buy bonless skinless chicken that my husband cuts then I cook it on the stove. Usually with a couple sides or with speggeti or something. Just depends on the mood and what we have the taste for.

I never buy boneless skinless chicken. It is a lot more expensive and I can do that mysrlf.

My husband and daughters love chicken. I am a vegetarian but I cook it for them and make it twice or thrice a week for them. Their preferred is chicken curry and rice
But I do make chicken soup, lime chicken, chicken roast, kebabs, butter chicken , chicken biryani etc. The list is pretty long to bring out a lot of varieties.
