because there are some people who love the president here.
I am talking about Chinese fishing vessels still in the West Philippine Sea. I do not follow the news very much, but as far as i know, this has been going on since 2019.
Our President is not doing much until now because he does not want to start a war that we cannot win, and he says we owe China a lot, because of the vaccines...
But how about the fishermen affected? Some have been fishing there for decades but are forced to find land jobs. They had blocked and rammed Filipino fishing boats and the President only called it a usual/minor accident...

I think this issue is really very sensitive since we are governed by a president that is really pro-China and would not want to hurt the feeling of his political ally at this time and period where he depends on the vaccination of his countrymen is dependent. No matter how our fishermen are bullied on the sea the government remains adamant to make a move to protect our fishermen out there just doing their traditional fishing area. I really see him as a lame-duck president who could not even stand for his own people and would just spread fear that we have to wage war just to assert our rights. We have won the arbitral meeting in Hague but the president doesn't want to assert that to China. This person has made treason to his countrymen for not trying to defend us as the president of this country. Indonesia, Vietnam, and others are trying their best to shoo away Chinese vessels but we are not doing anything at all.

@lady1993 Do not Vote for his Allies next election. You will become a Chinese province in No time if his allies remain in Power. Afraid of War? So many countries in Asia hates China that they can simply team up against China. The Asean countries wants to work together against China but Duterte is pro-china.

this has been an ongoing issues way back the past president. they are now pointing fingers. But this I think is the result of letting our boats there left leaving China to assume they own it. This happened with a different president and now the issue is up again now. With Sinovac coming from China, of course they would not want to start war with them

I'm not surprised by this. Biden's a Communist supporter and Communist leaders are selfish jerks. This is the fault of Communism or any political body really. Hence why Biden ain't doing anything.
But hey, people are saying they put Biden in office fair and square, and I'd say I'm enjoying watching the world burn, but I'm too focused on my own life to notice.
Which is why it's good I read stuff like this.
