Here I was walking and the sun was warm upon my body. It felt good and made me smile. It also made me think and appreciate the sun. It’s hard to believe that something that is over 93,000,000 miles (149,600,000 km) away could make me feel so hot that I had to take my hat off. If the sun wasn’t there, then it would always be night. I’m glad the sun is there. Of course, the sun does much more than give us warmth and light. It also makes our food possible. Less than one billionth of the sun’s energy reaches the earth but that is more than enough to sustain life on earth. At the end of the day, thank God for the wonderful sun that gives us so much and it’s all free!

Sun is a great source of energy and is vital for the survival and sustenance of life on our planet. And not to forget it gives us Vitamin D for our bone strength and immunity. . I love to watch sunset and sunrise. They are mesmerizing.

I agree with all your thoughts on the sun. Here we have a long winter and we are so happy when we don't have to wear winter clothes anymore.

So true! Is it very hot in Uganda where you live? I live in Canada and we have a very long winter and are so happy when the weather improves to the point where we can put away our winter clothes, usually towards the end of May.

It sure is amazing! If we were just a little further from the sun we would freeze and a little closer and we would burn. The sun is at just the right distance.

Correct the nature is beautiful. Everything that God gave us should be in balance like if there was no Ozone we wouldn't have survived. So every single thing in nature is very important and should be in balance. But sadly humans are disrupting the ecological balance.

Yes, many things that humans do are disruptive but thankfully God has everything under control and at the right time he does the right thing. There is nothing that humans do that God can't fix.
