Today is a May 3 and it is Labor Day in Australia. Since it is a holiday, I got an extra rest day. I had been thinking of asking for a leave this month so I can go to the bank and settle some bills. Good thing I got this extra rest day. Off to the bank I went. The time to get there and the actual bank transaction was a breeze so I had some extra time and i decided to drop by the groceries. I had some extra cash and I decided that I'll be cooking a chicken viand to be distributed to the street sweepers and street vendors near my area. Got a couple kilos of chicken, some potatoes, some bell peppers, and some tomato sauce. Managed to make some chicken afritada. Made a dozen tubs and distributed it in time for lunch. The point is, if you have something extra - food, clothes, time - give it to those that need it the most. Give it to those who can still make use of it.

We celebrated Labor Day the 1st of may in Europe, I thought it was the same in Australia. I am going through what we have at home and do not use anymore. I am going to donate several things, I already did the past months.
