How I was a Very Clever Horse at breakfast today.

I ate light yesterday evening, so I decided to have dinner for breakfast today, specifically a Turkey TV Dinner (actually by Stouffer's). As I've mentioned before, one of my first-world problems is that Souffer's turkey dinner has no cranberry sauce in it. What I did today was open up a container of raspberry yogurt and put just a large dollop in a corner of the mashed potatoes (I also added salt, pepper and butter.) It worked. My sweet an fruity side was satisfied, and so was my basic turkey, stuffing and mashed potato side. Can you think of times when you "went with what you had" when it comes to fine cuisine?

Mashed potatoes is delicious. I think dinner for breakfast is just called breakfast no matter what you eat

It worked out well this morning. But I was quite hungry by lunch time.

All the time. But I have to ask: Was the light in rays or bulbs?

Um, isn't light just a small range of wavelengths of energy that out photo-receptors sense as light?

I heated up frozen chicken nuggets and had a blueberry yogurt for lunch today. Yours sounds better.

Frozen chicken nuggets generally are not on my radar screen. Yogurt is, though.

Well, not cuisine as fine as yours, but one time I was so rushed on my lunch hour at work trying to fit in a session at the gym that I didn't have time to cut up my banana for a sandwich. So I just wrapped the slice of bread around the whole peeled banana. I live such an exciting life.

Cranberry sauce is a staple in our household. My husband eats it by the can full with turkey, chicken, etc. Raspberry yogurt sounds like an OK substitute. Whatever floats your boat. We rarely need to make substitutes. My food hoarder husband keeps the pantry, fridge and freezer full!
