Hello, hope you all have had a good day. No big news around here, just another day really. Work did go by pretty fast so that was a good thing. We were busy and that helps the day go by. Another kind of warm day today. The sun has been in and out all day and they are calling for rain and thunderstorms tonight. We will see if that happens or not. I looked at the radar and it looks to me that it is going to go north of us. I am home for the night so it can rain all it wants to. The other day one of the long time Blackhawks retired from hockey. I’m a little sad about it as I like the player. Andrew Shaw, he was a right winger on the team and played hard all the time. At 29 years old he called it a career, after many concussions and at the advice of his doctors he called it quits on the game. Although I will miss watching him play, I totally understand and am glad for him and his family that he is more worried about his health than playing hockey. Shaw played in 544 career games, won two Stanley Cup Championships in his 10-year career. The thing I liked most about him is his playing style. He went all out every time, never backed down from a fight, and gave it his all, all the time. He will be missed but I am happy for him and his family that he is getting out before it is too late.
