It became sprouts

The other day niece plan to cook mung beans soup. She soaked the beans in water a night before so that it will get tender easily without boiling it for more minutes. The following day, the cooking did not push thru and it's just until tonight. It came a surprise to her when she opened the cover of the container where she soaked the beans as it turned into sprouts. Still, the turn around is still a good dish for the nights dinner.

Yeah, beans of any kind will sprout quickly if left in water for a day or two. I'm glad the soup still came out tasting good.
