Well anyway, there is a FB site that is in this area that gives things away for free. I mean people donate them. Someone was complaining that people are selling these items after receiving them,..and the curator of the page was hot, and said people can be banned for that. I mean if you have no use for an item and give it away, what do you care what someone does with it? I think that is super petty really. That is like giving somebody something and saying you can only use it in "this way." What if someone really needs the money, more than the item? What are your thoughts on this?

Uh, hard question. It often happened to me to donate clothes to the Red Cross and to find out later that they were selling it. I think that donations should go to those who need it.

Ideally yes, but if a person sells it, and benefits that way..so what? Isn't the purpose to help the person you donated it to?

@Nevena83 Well could be, but if I am giving something away I don't really care about the character of the person who takes it. I am usually just happy to have something out of the way..

@snowy22315 I feel that way too, but sometimes if I see it different, I feel cheated.

I’m so happy to be off Facebook! So ridiculous and petty.

It really can be. However, you can also get valuable info. from it, so it is kind of a Catch-22.

I think it is...They should care less what someone does with an item once they have surrendered it.

If I give something away, it's not my business what you do with it. If I cared, I wouldn't have given it away.

I agree. You willfully agreed to let those items go. What happens next to that shouldn't be your concern. Some people and their thoughts.

@snowy22315 No, it's not trust me. Everybody wants to gift something nice to the receiving party, that's nature. But when it comes to family that becomes more overwhelming that they should like what you have picked. for that exact same reason, we go to heights to get the perfect gift.

What happens after you give it to someone else shouldn't be your concern in my opinion.
