there are no mosquitoes but...

Am just wondering why I sometimes wake up or I just feel a bite on my arm and leg. Not many, like just one bite a day but it is very itchy. it looks like a mosquito bite. I don't see mosquitoes around. I just apply a topical cream on the affected area so as to get rid of swelling and itchiness. But it is still a mystery to me what bites me. Has it ever happened to you? Any idea?

I found the answer today. I saw ants crawling on our bed because my hubby eats there sometimes.

My mother used to call those pests no see 'em's. Nats or sand bugs, I think is their actual title. Basically little bugs whos bite you feel but can't see.

May be an ant, they bite and it's a pretty painful bite.
