All things considered, this is a very happy Cinco De Mayo. That's what the FAILING Bed-Wetting Liberal Media wants you to believe. But if you happen to be at the The Mar-A-Lago Club, you know the TRUTH. I was there this morning for a little while and...Well, I guess the best way to sum up the atmosphere is with one word: Dismal.
In the first place, my friend Ted is still there. He had a romantic Cinco De Mayo Eve candlelit dinner with Donny last night but...Well, all I'm going to say is don't believe what you read in the Dishonest Papers about how it went.
But the worst thing is the announcement from the Failing FaceBook That No One Wants Or Needs! It is UNFAIRLY continuing its' ILLEGAL ban on Dear Glorious Leader!
I wish I could say HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO but this year, it just isn't happy at all!

Cinco de Mayo isn't a Federal Holiday in the US or Mexico. Do you actually bother with it when Mexicans in Mexico don't? I think it's BS for people in the US to observe a Mexican holiday that not even Mexicans observe.

It's actually something that started in California by Mexican gold miners when they heard about the Mexican army's success against the French at the Battle of Puebla, so it's more of a Mexican-American thing than a Mexican thing.
But I do agree that it's kind of gotten ridiculous in the way that St Patrick's Day has in the US too.
That being said, we are having Mexican food for dinner because a lot of other people in the area are and it's fun to do that.

Did you see what the Florida did, passing a bill that prohibits banning politicians from social media sites? Bet that'll go over like a fart in a diving helmet when it gets into the courts.
