The money is gone

Good day friends Yesterday, I received 450 euros from my brother, as part of the salary he owes me for the work around his computers. But yesterday I also paid my son's fine of 350 euros. The washing machine broke down and it will cost me about 50 euros. Definitely no money stays with me. My head hurts from all this. Are you a money magnet or are you like me?

I must admit that recently me and Yvonne have managed to save some money. And I managed to buy a new bike recently. Our new home only costs a fraction to heat etc than the last one so we have saved on that. Lockdown has saved us a lot of money as well. So we are doing ok. Washing machines breaking down are a real pain. What is wrong with it?

Sounds like you plan everything well. The bearings on the machine were destroyed.

@JimBo452020 No, it's usually empty, so I don't know if that's the reason.

@Nevena83 I do try and plan ahead. Have you been over loading the machine?

Just like you. I receive 600 rupees from a friend and the next bill comes up as soon as I receive it. cant save money at all. well, I also hate my habit of overspending on things I don't require, so that's another issue. But recently I saved some money and bought myself a phone. Writing about this right now is making my head hurt.

@Prabhatsingh Yes, it probably is. And why are you buying unnecessary things?

When I talk about money, I also have a headache. The only good thing is that I don't spend money on unnecessary things.

@Nevena83 That's good. that's good self-control I must say. Which I don't, unfortunately.

But look at it this way at least you got the money from your brother otherwise you would be paying it all your pocket. Until recently we never had much money but now things are better.

@Nevena83 we all have to spend the money we make for our food, clothing and shelter and to help out out kids. Are you making your son pay you back? It's just different for your because your brother doesn't pay you often enough. Which is a crime really.

Yes, but it's the money I made. And I could have spent it on something nicer, but well and that’s an integral part of life. I think I will fight for money all my life, and I will never have enough of it.

@MarshaMusselman No, I don't expect that from my son, but I would really like him to find a job after school in order to have money for himself. Yes, my brother just wants to keep the money for himself.

@Nevena83 While growing up I was not good at saving money. Now, I either save it for a period of time till I have to use it. I am sorry that your washer broke down too and had to use most of it to pay the fine and have none left now.

@Nevena83 It is very frustrating. You want to save and things just happen to get in the way that you cannot.

Every time I make some money, something always appears that I have to spend it on immediately, and that drives me crazy.

I know how you feel. Sometimes I want to spend money on something nice, on myself, but whenever I happen to have more money, the money simply goes to unforeseen expenses.

Why do you have to pay your son's fine?

My son still goes to school and does not earn money, and he was fined, because he still drove the car that my brother left us to drive and he did not have all the necessary documents, so it is still my fault.

It always seems that there's never just one thing that needs to get paid. At least you were able to get your sons fine paid and have the money for the washing machine.

Fine really hurts and the amount is not little. I managed to spend less than I earned and that helped me to retire in peace.

Friend, like you I am a magnet for money, but with the same poles (we repel each other) .LOL. When I get some extra or significant money, something always comes up that makes me spend it right away.

He was fined for driving a car that did not have all the necessary documents. I'll leave you a link, so you can read it if you want.
Good day friends I’m not in the best of moods today, so I’m not sure how active I’ll be here. Basically, today my son was stopped by the intervention police....

Sadly I am also not a money magnet. Within 15 days of credit of my salary almost 90% vanishes. Some goes into essential expenditure but most of the time it goes into online dress and skin care purchases, that I regret later

Some are a very good magnet for money, but I definitely can't keep the money, there are always unforeseen expenses.
