Got some laundry going

It is a load of towels. I use cold water for my clothes but I use hot water for towels, sheets, comforters, etc. Charlie the cat peed on one of my towels so I had to wash it ASAP to get rid of the disgusting smell. He is a bad boy.
I had laundry in the washing machine that I forgot about. I went to put that in the dryer but it had to be spun again because it was still soaking wet. That happens like 50% of the time. Whatever. At least I have a washing machine and dryer in this apartment.
So now the dark clothes are drying and the towels are washing. I really hope I don't have to wash the towels twice.

It's nice to have laundry machine. It saves time. I wash my clothes with cold water.

Laundry day for me as well . Although I wash all of our stuff I got water. After the kids one time had live I have kept the water hot incase something that happens again. It also helps kill more germs in our clothes that wash especially my husband scrubs

@NJChicaa it coast more for you than use hot water then to use cold water?
Here that doesn’t change the price they charge by how much water you use hot water heaters goes towards the electricity.

Dropped off my laundry yesterday. Was suppose to get it today but got lazy. Will get it tomorrow.

I wash MY towels on Fridays. I don't use a whole load over the week, so I wash them pretty fast.

You are lucky to have a washer and dryer in your apartment. I remember the days, eons ago, when I had to use the community laundry room when I lived in an apartment.
