Day 270 Promise 738 2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. Many people live their entire lives oblivious to sin in their lives as they do whatever they please. John wrote this letter to a woman and her children. He reinforced the need to walk in truth and love. He also told her that those who sinned and did not live in the doctrine of Jesus Christ, didn’t have God in their lives. Those who lived in Jesus’ doctrine knew they sinned and confessed their sin for the forgiveness God promised His children. As Christians, you know the doctrine of Jesus Christ is found in love, professing the truth of God’s Word, and forgiveness. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 4:23 But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (KJV) John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears my voice. 38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and said unto them, I find in him no fault at all. Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. (KJV) 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV) God wrapped up in His love for you when He poured His doctrine into the life and ministry of His Son, Jesus Christ. When you love as Jesus loved, forgive as He forgave you, and teach all men everywhere about Him and His love for them, you live in the doctrine of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Do you proclaim the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ? Do you live your life so people know you belong to Him? Let’s pray: Father, forgive me for not living my life as fully as I should. Help me live Your Word in truth and love, forgiving all those who come against me as Your Son, Jesus did. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Thanks for sharing. I am not perfect as I fail to forget things that people do to hurt me. I was harassed by a colleague the other day and I intend to get back.

We are all human, and far from perfect. You can only try to do better next time. Have a blessed day.

Yes, if we endeavour to abide both in truth, and in love, our ignorance will disappear over time, especially if we fill our minds with the goodness of God's doctrine, by reading of his word too. Our heart knows, but our mind disputes this knowing, when it remains ignorant. This is why it is important to thoroughly immerse ourselves within God's words, every day too, to remove this ignorance and to replace it with truth.

I do believe that the bible is the best weapon we could ever have especially now in our current situation! We have to put our trust to the LORD! For i know the plans of the Lord to prosper us and not to harm us. Maybe God is trying our faith on Him during these hard times!
