@DocAndersen If you feed them, you sure they alive, They need food to move. 
Those were nice beds, though , we have similar ones and is a bit funny because we Have one for a smaller dog and one for our bigger dog. The German shepherd loves sleeping in the smaller one.. Sometime she gets smart and turns it into a pillow , there you go now that make sense. I tell her.

It would be hard for me to move away from such comfort zones too. The place of waiting can make all of the difference to the wait sometimes.

@DocAndersen Yes, the comfort of the waiting area, is related to the pain of the wait. Discomfort, while waiting, can increase the pain, considerably.
The time factor plays its own place in both cases too.
Longer times spent comfortably, can sometimes feel better than shorter times spent uncomfortably.

@innertalks i used to travel the world many years ago (12 now). I found that having a comfortable place made waiting easier!
