24 Hour Fast

After stuffing my face last night with lots of food and not the good one, I decided to fast today.
Last night I had pork tonkatsu for dinner, some grilled fish, two cups of ice cream, and a couple slices of brownies. I topped it all of with a couple glasses of soda and some juice. By 9:00 PM, I felt different. I felt sluggish the rest of the night and had a hard time sleeping. I was still reading posts and writing comments here in myLot and I had to abruptly stop because I did not feel well.
This morning, I felt better but decided to give my digestive system a break. I skipped breakfast and planned on having a late lunch. Lunch time came and went and I still wasn't hungry. It was then that I decided that I will only eat when the hunger pangs hits. I have had only water and half a glass of juice. Past 8:00 PM now here in Manila so I have completed my fast. I feel better. No hunger pangs yet. I guess I'll be going back to intermittent fasting from now on to give my body time to rest. Intermittent fasting has a lot of benefits. I did it before and I'm sure I can do it again. It is just a matter of deciding what sort of intermittent fasting I'm doing and what schedule I would adhere to.

You can try it and assess how you feel during and after the fast.

I think fasting is sometimes good for our bodies..but I have never really been able to pull it off. I think maybe once or twice I came close to it with a juice fast.

Fasting is indeed good for the body. A juice fast works just as well because you get your nutrients from the juice and you aren't that hungry.

Yup. After a meal, sometimes it takes 12 hours for our body to completely digest the food. I have gone on for more than that and I have yet to eat. I hope to continue feeling better.

Yes I do fasting. I'm currently fasting too. Just partial fasting. Half a day
