Buying food online

In the city I live, buying food in supermarkets is worse since the lockdowns began. It seems that people have a desperation for going out and the supermarkets and malls are full. I don´t understand why churches and museums are closed and yet malls are open. So my friend could not buy what she wanted in the supermarket. And now I will buy online for her. I am waiting for her to finish an online religious service to finish the list and asked everything to be sent here. It will be easier because my account is created and I will buy this list with my credit card.

Simple. Food is necessary for life. So shutting down a mall, would be an end to life. However, worship is a choice, hence people can live without in-person services. People are also going to flock to the places they are allowed, because they literally can't go anywhere else.

I agree that supermarkets must be open. But not places where you can buy bigger and bigger TVs. That is also a choice.

I have never tried buying grocery online but food yes. I went to the supermarket before the closing time. But the expectation of no more shoppers are around was wrong, I was on a long queue going to the counter.

@marguicha I wanted to go to the other supermarket across the street but I don't want to walk using the overpass.

Yes. It`s a wonder why they close the church there when the malls are open. Here too. There are items available online and not at the supermarkets.

Same here. There´s a sort of insanity that includes the authorities.

We buy online groceries for now as it is not a good idea for us to go out to the stores,

We'd like to buy groceries online and pick them up at the store; but you must have a smartphone to do that.

That can be done here too. But I ask the shoppers that they come by the garage door and leave everything at the garage. I then clean and get the food in linttle by little.

@marguicha The only store that will deliver is Aldis; and they have a limited amount of merchandise.
