cashew nuts can be harmful

because it is somewhat affordable online. I bought 1/2 kilo and ate it all in a day. nothing really happened actually. but on the following week I bought again this time one kilo and finished them in two days. that's when I had so much gas and experienced diarrhea and also some pain on my lower back and some uncomfortable feeling on my lower chest and other parts of the abdomen. This pain lasted for a month or so. I did drink fresh milk often after that to get rid of the negative effects or the pain as I have read online. So I have read that eating too much of it can harm the kidneys. and one person as I have read online have to do dialysis after indulging on it. So it is not safe. I bought a kilo walnuts after two weeks. but thankfully I didn't experience any pain after eating in two days also.Since then, like four months now, I have not bought nuts online. . I do occasionally buy some peanuts in very small amount in groceries like a small sachet. Though more expensive in groceries than buying online but at least I don't indulge in nuts like when buying them online in half kilo or more. In groceries, I can buy them in small sachets and limit my eating.

Too much of something good can be harmful to you as well. Best to have anything in moderation.

I am still feeling a little pain on my lower back but not too often and much less than before. every time I sit back. although the pressure is on my upper back when I lean back on the chair, I would still feel some pain on lower back. right now, I am trying to check, there is no pain. thanks

@hotsummer Back pain is horrible. I've had several rounds with it myself in the past.

I think it is not good too much for those people who have arthritic conditions.

It's not what you eat, it is the quantity that "makes the poison" you ate too much.

yes it's the amount and how often. but it's not easy to limit

how much did you actually eat to say you overdosed.

@hotsummer I’m not sure but it was a big, big bag. I farted copiously for about a week after and I was quite worried to start with because it took me a while to make the connection between the nuts and my wind.

I do have cashew nuts but in small quantities. Anything in excess causes harm.

Anything can be dangerous if you don't know where it comes from or if you eat too much in one sitting.

it is tempting to eat more nuts as it is not that heavy on the tummy. as the limit of nuts is just like a spoon daily i think.
