It Monday and It's Sunny

We are having a bring sunny day today even though it is not very warm. We had a great time yesterday at my son Jason's. He made lobster rolls for lunch!! I made mini carnitas for dinner and with the lime crema they were yummy.
I have a new furry grandson, my son Steve has a new dog named Prince. He is a real cutie.
I got to see my two great-grandsons. I haven't seen them since December 2019. Kai is only 4 and he ran to me for a hug, I said I missed you so much and he said" I missed you too" lol I bet he is wondering who is this woman but he is just so sweet.
I got a beautiful plant, lots of gift cards, and just lots of conversation. I brought the strawberry rhubarb pie and I made a container of homemade whipped cream so Jason could make strawberry shortcakes.
Later I watch season 14 of Murdoch Mysteries. All I can say is there better be a season 15 because they left everything hanging.
Al and I are going to our friend the eye doctor to pick up his new glasses this afternoon. Thursday I have an appointment at the dentist to discuss my tooth.
I have had my 2 cups of coffee and Jack and I are going through his school work. It's a good day. I hope everyone is having a great day.

It is a sunny yet cool day here in London, Ontario.
I love to see that sun shining, makes all of our worries or concerns disappear.
I had to do a search to see what you brought yesterday, we do not have as much Mexican cuisine here as you do.
I love the Murdock Mysteries, such a great show. Have you seen the series the Mid Wives? Its a good series and I recommend it.
We had such a wonderful family day yesterday, my heart is still just so happy. I am glad that we went and spent time with our son and daughter-in-law.

I have not only seen every episode of the Midwives but I have read all the books which I highly recommend. I am so glad you got to see your son and daughter-in-law, one visit can keep us warm for quite a long time, Little Kai made my heart ing!!

@BelleStarr We both enjoy watching shows form earlier time frames.
Our son snet us home with a box of assorted pasteries that he had made up by a local baker and a strawberry custard pie-oh my, is that ever delicious!

@BelleStarr My dogs had strange names, like Puffer and Wiffy. We got Puffer at six months old, he had already been named by my cousin Jerry.

He is a shepherd husky mix but he looks more like a black lab with big white front paws. Very cute.
