ugh I could never deal with it with water, my mom always made it with milk for me and that is the only way I make it for my children. And they have to have the grilled cheese to go with it:)

When i was younger my mother always used half milk and half water. As I got older i found that i really did not like the milk. I am not much of a creamened soup person. so now i use water. But there are times when i will add a little tomato juice and a little hot sauce now that is sooooooo yummy.

i use milk in my tomato soup. It seems to be creamier that way. I like the taste of it better than the soup made with water.

That's one of my favorite soups, although I don't like soup much unless I'm sick. I always put milk in my tomato soup though. I like to have it with cracjers or grilled cheese on the side.

Tomatoes! The gardener's best friend! - I wish I could grow 'em like this!
I use half and half or whole milk! To make it extra silky try adding some unsalted butter. Although I rarely eat the canned stuff (I make my own from scratch) My best friend and business partner used to work for Campbell's and she would come home with loads of the stuff!:)

I use milk. I like it creamy. Whenever I have it, I also like to have a grilled cheese sandwich with it.

I don't do anything to it. I pour it out of the can and put it on the stove, eat exactly as is. No milk, no water, nothing.

I like to mix mine up with milk. I put it all in a quart jar and shake it up really good. That way it takes any lumpyness out of it. I also, love to have a grilled cheese sandwich with my tomato soup.
