What is a moon? the Moon according to Wikipedia is Earth's only natural satellite. And it is the fifth largest natural satellite in the Solar System relative to the size of its planet. The Moon is actually a dark place and moves the tides, but have you ever thought that there's more to it that just that? i just wanted to say to all of you people who's feeling unloved, unwanted, hopeless, etc. That It's not just a ball of sphere that makes waves and tides, it's not just about being the fifth largest natural satellite, It's all about life and hope. Speaking metaphorically, The Moon is our guiding light through darkest times, its reminding us that whenever there's a challenge in life that feels like you can't see the light or see the hope in everything anymore, that everything you are feeling is just hopelessness, its just there; looking at you, telling you to look up, be brave, look forward, forget the past; learn from it. its there to simply say "there still hope it everything, don't forget about it, i am here". Whether its a waning, waxing, a new moon its always there for you; for you to tell all your deepest darkest secret or fear. Despite for most of the times the moon is blocked by heavy dark clouds, the stars is its only way for its to guide us by pointing us to the right direction through Constellations. And even though, the stars is not there too, its always been there for us. Don't be afraid to tell someone your problems, your fear, just babble or rant. Find someone who is willing to listen to you, although it may not solved anything, remember that letting out all your negative emotion is a great way than bottling it all up inside. Cry if you want, scream if you want, just don't hurt yourself physically and drain yourself emotionally. I hope through this short message that i made, i hope everyone can see that they are not alone, someone is there for you.

The word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. The moon is not our "guiding light through darkest times"

Besides @MildredTabitha, who do you think PUT the Moon there? The Moon is actually what priests used to help us know if a 'month' had gone by yet ('Moon' actually being THE ROOT of the word 'month').

The moon is a fascinating part of creation. The Genesis account refers to it as, '... the lesser luminary for dominating the night' and it provides a metaphor for the reliability of God's promises, as it says in Ps 89:37, 'it will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.'

The last Super Moon peeped through my window pane at around 4 in the morning. I was surprised by the light that shone into my humble home. I did greet the Super Moon hello and was grateful for the visit. I love the moon.

The moon is just the moon, completely lifeless and certainly not there for anybody. Everything you've said here are interpretations by human beings.

Thank you for this. Yes, we do need to have someone in our lives who respect us the same as we do them. Nothing less should be considered from them our from us. Love and trust are the factors that help them grow together in life. I hope there is someone for everyone.

Being scientifically proven that our bodies are made around 70% of water and that the moon affects the seas, I believe it has a great effect on humans. Lately, I learned to appreciate "La Luna" and enjoying evening walks under its light.
